JPG to PNG
Files never leave your deviceDrop JPGs here to get PNG copies, for when an app or form insists on PNG. Converting does not improve quality: the PNG holds exactly the JPG's pixels.
How to use it
- Drop .jpg or .jpeg files.
- They convert immediately.
- Download the PNGs or a zip.

Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The page loads its code once, then reads and processes your files inside the browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server; you can confirm it in your browser's network panel while a file converts.
Will the background become transparent?
No. A JPG has no transparency, so the PNG has the same solid background. Removing a background is a separate job.
Why is the PNG several times bigger?
PNG is lossless and stores every pixel, while JPG discards detail you rarely notice. The bigger file has no extra detail; it is only less compressed.
