Drop a photo and get a JPG under 100 KB at the highest quality that fits. 100 KB is a common cap on job portals, profile pictures and email-friendly images.

## How to use it

1. Drop one or more images; the target is already set to 100 KB.
2. Check the preview and the final size.
3. Download the JPG, or a zip for several.

## Details

- **Target:** ≤ 100 KB (102,400 bytes)
- **Common uses:** Job portal and government form photo uploads, LinkedIn and résumé photos, product photos on marketplaces with a 100 KB cap
- **Pixel size:** Kept when quality alone gets under the limit; otherwise reduced and shown with the result
- **Output:** JPG (or WebP)

## Questions

### Are my files uploaded?

No. The page loads its code once, then reads and processes your files inside the browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server; you can confirm it in your browser's network panel while a file converts.

### Does 100 KB mean 100,000 or 102,400 bytes?

The tool uses 1 KB = 1,024 bytes, so the limit is 102,400 bytes. If a form uses 1,000, set a custom target of 97 KB to be safe.

### A job site rejects my 3 MB phone photo. Is 100 KB enough?

Usually. Most portals that cap uploads at 100 KB display the photo small, and a JPG at that size keeps faces sharp at profile-picture sizes. Check whether the portal also wants a specific pixel size, and set Max width if so.

### Can I compress a PDF to 100 KB here?

No, this tool takes images only (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF). For a scanned document, compress the page image here first, then put it in a PDF.

### Will the photo look noticeably worse?

For on-screen viewing, rarely. A 100 KB JPG around 1,200–1,600 px wide looks clean on phones and laptops; very detailed photos get scaled down more. It will not print well at large sizes.
